Stalking - The crime of stalking has become more prevalent as our society has become increasingly mobile and easier access to personal information allows the curious to identify locations and track activities. Confidential information sometimes is obtained from an ill-informed or indiscriminate private investigator. A controlling or abusive partner has the potential to become even more dangerous once his/her victim separates. In such instances, it is important to have a well organized plan actively in place to prevent further confrontation and violence by the partner seeking to regain control. Our goal is to utilize all avenues to provide for the safety of the victim.

Erotomania, a recognized psychiatric diagnosis, is stalking by an individual who does not know the victim personally or have any relationship with the victim. An individual with erotomania has a serious mental illness. Such stalking is a problem not only for celebrities but also for those individuals who have contact with the public. The deeply held pseudo-romantic belief of these stalkers is “you would love me if only you truly knew me”.
